We are gathered together to unite John and Joan in martrimony, which is an honorable estate. not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly. but reverently and somberly. 

If anyone can show just cause why these two may not be lawfully joined together let them speak now or forever hold their peace. 

I require and charge you both that if either of you know why you may not be lawfully joined together in matrimony, you must confess it now. 


John will you take Joan for your lawful wedded wife .will you love ,honor,comfort and cherish her from this day froward.forsaking all others keeping only unto her for as long as you both shall live?

John Do you have a ring for Joan?

John place the ring on Joan's finger and repeat after me.

Minister May you always share with each other the gift of love, be one in spirit, and create a home together that is vibrant with love. generosity , and kindness 

Minister In so much as John and Joan have consented together in wedlock and have declared their love by the giving and receiving of a ring I now pronounce that they are husband and wife. 

To the couple I ask you to seal the promises that you have made to each other with a kiss.
